So,as I said on Facebook.I officially decided to stay in California for whole my college life (which probably will be 4 years (or less or more lol) ) after I was expecting to go to a public university inside the mid-east or the east coast.But since, searched for good public undergrad B-schools (since I really don’t wanna go to a private university because it’s expensive and there is no diversity there) and I just got some interesting location school,so I opted for them.
So, now I would like to introduce the pros and cons of the cities which presumably will be my home from the fall of 2014.
Berkeley,CA. My hometown;and you know I love this cozy town located just in the East side of the California Bay Area (also known as the East Bay for the local people) because there are trees anywhere,great stores and because you can see a beautiful view of the San Francisco Downtown and the Bay Bridge (yea,I’m talking about the Berkeley Marina). PROS.Very quite and pretty liberal. CONS.If you will live in the south region,sometimes you will have to deal with the crime which Oakland (the greatest city nearest to Berkeley) is making a “wave” to Berkeley.
San Luis Obispo,CA.Great town of about 50,000 people (most of them are college students). PROS.Pretty quiet than Berkeley,since it’s a suburban town.Even if this is a small city there is a Costco and Target,so you will get everydays stuffs without any inconvenience. CONS.You will probably need a car,specially if you want to go back home.Since it is located about 4 hours from San Francisco and Los Angeles by car.However,SLO does have a airport but the schedules are pretty limited.
San Diego,CA.I love this town because of great weather in the summer and winter.
As you guys know,yesterday,the Obamacare have been officially upheld. The upheld means that every American citizen have to get health care,or these who do not get it will face penalties which will be part of taxes.
However,President Obama tried to bring Obamacare after a century as the main thing to do in his administration.
Now,it will be easy to enroll to get Health Care plan for every American making it more affordable.
But,we have to make sure that,if Mitt Romney is gonna be the president next year,the first thing he will do in his administration is to ban and remove the Obamacare.
We have no future with a “dictatorship” of the Republican Party,so we have to keep going with the Democratic Party,because it’s the party which is changing America for sure.
Anyways,Thanks Mr. President for making this reform involving every residents of this great country of the freedom.
today it’s my 12th day here in Cali,and I would like to talk one surprising thing that I didn’t saw in Japan,but in America.
Last Saturday,I went for my first time to an American bank (because I lived in Cali for my first 5 years of my life,and since I was a kid I didn’t have the opportunity or I don’t remember if I used to go to a bank here in America) and I saw such a thing never saw in the banks in Japan.YES,it’s the coffees,lemonades and cookies you can serve.However,we see these things in hotels but it’s my first time that i see in a bank.
So,what’s my message to the Japanese banks?
LEARN FROM THE AMERICAN HOSPITALITY!!
Yes,as you know the hospitality is pretty important,because the relationship between the representatives and customers gets better.
But be careful,the corruption is normal in US banks.So,I think in security Japanese banks are better.Because you know American people laid off everybody,it’s the country of the freedom XD
From today,the history of Facebook will change. YES,officially Facebook is now in the stock market and part of NASDAQ. Currently the “price of the stocks” is 38 bucks,but just imagine if the valor increases the same as Apple or Starbucks.Facebook will make you rich.
So,now I started to think in getting Facebook stocks,but on the market everything does happen at anytime.So,I’m not sure if I have to start business like this during my college life.

As you know,the day to become the democratic nominee for the presidential election is approaching for the president Obama.But have you wondered why Obama deserves to be reelected? Yesterday,during my part-time job a American man bought a salad dish and pasta lunch.I wanted to speak him in English,but he seemed to speak in Japanese.So,I continued the conversation between clerk and customer in Japanese,and I was going to put a fork in the bag which Im going to put his lunch.But he said “Ohashi onegaishimasu” (chopstick please),I was so surprised!! I used to see many Japanese customers who eat pasta with chopsticks,but its my first time that I see a person of another country than Japan who is going to use chopsticks to eat pasta.
I want to make sure,that some foreigners can eat pasta with Chopsticks!!
